One of the coolest things about going to the PCOM (Pacific College of Oriental Medicine) is that I not only get to work toward a DAOM at one of the nation’s top schoolf for Oriental medicine but I get to offer free classes there too. The staff has been really amazing at finding away that I can use the space to teach my kung fu, taiji and qigong classes but I get to offer…
Free Tai Chi at Pacific College
We had a great turnout today with many familiar faces and a few new ones as well. Since Spring is the time for growth and movement I thought it was awesome to see this good of a crowd. These classes are on Sunday afternoons from 2 – 4:30 pm at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine at 65 East Wacker place, Chicago Il 60601. You’ll find us on the 17th floor in room 17-6. Just sign in with the guard as you come in the building then come on up. Just wear something loose and comfortable and join us for free tai chi in Chicago but we’ll probably throw in a little kung fu with some self-defense training and a form or two for conditiong, and some qigong to balance things out.
Here’s a link to our meetup.com page where you can find a bit more information and RSVP for these classes Free Tai Chi in Chicago
Also, coming up on March 8th, we have our monthly qigong class which is also free to the public. You can find out a little more about that class at this link Free Qigong Class. These classes are always free and we all just love helping people take charge of their own health.
I coulnd’t end this post without thanking a great new friend Elaine. I was doing classes in the park and telling my students we were about done for the winter and I mentioned this to Elaine. The next thing Alicia and I knew, we were doing our classes at PCOM. I love this school and the people in it and I can’t say that enough.
